About me

I have been a psychologist since 2007 and opened Brisbane Harmony Centre with my two colleagues, Ainsley and Catherine, in 2018.

When I started in psychology, my initial experiences were providing therapy for survivors of relationship abuse and assisting individuals with mental health barriers to employment re-enter the workforce. Since 2011, I’ve been working in clinical private practice settings assisting individuals overcome trauma and emotional suffering.

My approach is trauma-informed and neuro-affirming and draws on Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and therapies for Structural Dissociation.

Some of the concerns I can assist with include:

  • Trauma related symptoms including PTSD/CPTSD
  • Symptoms of Dissociation and Dissociative Disorders
  • Exploring neurodivergence and unmasking
  • Grief & Loss

In addition to the above, I provide formal assessment of Autism for those that wish to pursue this.

When I can drag myself away from psychology, my time is spent with my family, or pursuing one of many creative outlets such as painting, sewing, jewellery making, and anything else I can get my hands on.
